How to apply

At your appointment, bring all the documents listed above, in original and hard copy.

Please also bring

A self-addressed, prepaid or stamped envelope, at the time of your application.

Important

Either spouse may, individually, request the registration of a marriage conducted in Australia with the relevant registries in Lebanon. Neither party may claim lack of knowledge or consent regarding this registration: registering a marriage in Lebanon is a confirmatory and declaratory act of an existing, established legal fact rather than a constitutive one, so it does not depend on the consent of either party.
